CANCELLATION

 bullet CLOTHING
A church deposit of $200 and a $20 deposit per person is required by January 15 to confirm reservations. If you cancel within 2 months of your date and we cannot fill your slot, you will lose the $20 deposit per person. If you cancel within 3 months, you will lose the $200 deposit. When you sign up, remember you are keeping another church from coming. Be realistic and accurate with your dates and numbers. Priority will be given to those groups which come every year during the same approximate week. We minister in a cross-cultural situation which puts restrictions on dress. Also, different youth groups in the dorms observe varied acceptable practices. Thus, we require each group to dress modestly. Shorts and dresses must not come more than 2 inches above the knee. For ladies, no spaghetti straps, very loose sleeveless dresses, or bare midsections. Avoid printed shirts with rude slogans. Capri pants are fine but no shorts AT ALL when witnessing in Mexico (1 Cor. 8:12-13). Be prepared for rain and muddy streets.
bullet ELECTRONIC DEVICES bullet MISCELLANEOUS
Individual use of audio devices is PROHIBITED at the Center. If brought, your leader must collect these upon arrival to be returned later. Group use of audio outside of formal worship and ministry services is not allowed. We want your youth to hear from God without distractions and prevent conflict caused by varied musical tastes and spiritual values between groups.

Bed time is 10:30 pm every night. Those who stay up late must do so quietly and be accompanied with an adult leader, but NEVER past midnight. Unsaved kids in your group usually do not get renewed here. Those younger than 8th Grade are usually not up to the hard work. Younger kids must be accompanied by parents. We suggest that you provide 1 adult sponsor for every 10 youth.
bullet TRANSPORTATION bullet INSURANCE DETAILS
Travel in Brownsville during your VBS and Mexico witnessing must be in your own vehicles. To secure Mexico insurance, you need a valid driver's license and vehicle title. Rental vans may use the rental company's insurance. Liability cost used to be just under $37 for 5 days and full coverage for 3 days is $46 per vehicle at $20,000. Contact your insurance agent for updated costs before coming.

We do not carry accident insurance for accidents that may happen to your group. Accidents during games, horseplay, traveling in your vehicles, etc. must be charged to your own medical insurance.
