OUR PURPOSE

bullet SUMMER YOUTH MISSION
1. To fulfill the Great Commission in the Rio Grande Valley and in Mexico.
2. To furnish affordable effective mission opportunities for church groups.
3. To foster a life-changing experience for volunteers that encourages a calling to missions.
The Summer Youth Mission Program includes housing,  food, Vacation Bible School site, Spanish evangelism training, a witnessing experience in Matamoros, a trip to the market in Nuevo Progreso, and a trip to the beach at South Padre Island.

Summer Program:  $120 per person
Year-round Program:  Call for details
Reservation is required with $200 deposit plus $20 per person for the Summer Youth Program. Rates differ for Mexico mission projects.

This program houses and sends construction, evangelism, food distribution, and medical teams into Mexico and throughout the Rio Grande Valley. It is a year-round program.

The Facilities

The Center has two air-conditioned dormitories with 162 beds, kitchen, dining room, and recreation areas. Each dorm has a boys and girls area with bunk beds, fans, ironing boards, irons, showers and restrooms. Basketball and volleyball courts are on site as well for recreation needs. Bring your own linen, pillows, towels, etc. We do not allow radios, CD players, and other electronic equipment in the dorm area.

The People

For the Summer Youth Program, meals are prepared and served for each group. FBC-Brownsville personnel will accompany the groups during all phases of the mission work. The members of our volunteer workforce are skilled in providing support for the needs of the guests who stay in the dormitories.
